Common causes of toilet clogs

Komentarze: 0

The primary aim of a toilet is to dispose of human waste and toilet paper. When a toilet becomes overloaded with one or both things, the plumbing can become clogged. Exposing your plumbing to non-flushable items can have an adverse effect on the health of your toilet.

Non-flushable items include:

∙ Sanitary items such as pads and tampons

∙ Baby wipes

∙ Other foreign objects

Attempting to flush any one of these items will damage your toilets plumbing.

Some older toilets have a low water flow, this is not something that can change. Toilets built more than 20 years ago are not as efficient as newer toilets. So, the amount of water that flows through them is inferior to toilets that we have today. By installing a new toilet and plumbing system by Morwa Plumbing, you can have a better flushing toilet anywhere in London.

The trap in a toilet is the flap at the bottom of the bowl. This allows the water to flow in and out through the plumbing. This is what allows the toilet to flush. If it is not able to open correctly all the way, the toilet is unable to flush. A weak flush will not adequately remove waste from the toilet bowl. This results in your plumbing becoming blocked.

Exterior vents can affect the way your toilet runs. If the yard around the exterior of the toilet dirty, the vent can become blocked. Without adequate ventilation there is a lack of pressure. Without any pressure, the toilet will have a lot of trouble being able to flush.

Sewer lines, deep underground, can have years of built up waste. Roots from any surrounding plants can penetrate these pipes, causing a leakage of water and air. The loss of airflow results in a weak flush. Weak flushes are the primary cause of toilet clogs.

Cleaning your toilet regularly is the best way to keep your plumbing in top shape and clog free.
